AI in Healthcare: A Four-part Webinar Series presented by the DCI Network and the American Medical Informatics Association

As artificial intelligence continues to grow in both its uses and domain, the DCI Network is focusing on various perspectives on the impact of AI in Healthcare.  What are the implications of these new systems as they are brought into clinical practice from various perspectives?  As part of exploring these questions, the DCI Network is presenting a series of four webinars that will be leading up to a face-to-face meeting in late September on AI in Healthcare.  Each of these webinars will focus on a specific area.  They will look at how AI may affect healthcare from the perspectives of ethics and religion, how patients feel and think about this new technology getting inserted into the exam room, what the implications of trust and liability might be, and what the regulatory perspectives are.

This effort is being put together in concert with the American Medical Informatics Association (AMIA, www.amia.org) and will culminate in a face-to-face meeting in Boston on September 21-22.

We hope these webinars will provoke thoughtful discussion about the impact of AI in Healthcare as we proceed to help ensure that it is brought into healthcare in a safe and effective manner.
